I absolutely love this smoothie. Full of goodness from the different veggies and a smooth sweet taste from the banana avocado combination. A supadupa way for your stomach to start the day or as a nutrition boost after a work out.
Drink it through a straw by adding more juice. If you like the feeling of being more ”full”, use less liquid and top with crunchy granola (link to granola recipe page vegan) and use a spoon.
This is also a top class way to enjoy your minerals and vitiamins as it is packed with fruit and vegetables. If you are not sure what vitamins and minerals you need, it can a useful idea to take a Vitamin and Mineral test… this way you get to find out just what YOUR body needs and then you can mix your smoothies accordingly. I enjoy a ”laptoplifestyle”, so sometimes I work late in to the evening…. This smoothie, just before bed (kvälls mat) makes sure my mind slows down and I can enjoy a good nights sleep! Setting me up for a new day ahead and making the most of the time I am resting: the time when my immune system needs to repair and my mind needs to be nourished. This way I wont be using up my energy reserves unnecessarily leaving me fit to fight of illness when the colder darker months of winter arrive.

1/2 Cucumber / Gurka
3 stalks Celery / Selleri
3-4cms Ginger / Ingefära
Squeeze of lemon / Citron
1 Banana / Banan
1/2 Avocado/ Avokado
1 tbls Almond butter / Mandel Smör
1 tsp Spirulina / Spirulina Pulver
Juice your cucumber, celery, ginger and lemon and then blend the juice with the rest of your ingredients. You can always top it with some mixed seeds or buckwheat grouts if you want some extra crunch!
