How often to you get to walk with Nature?

Walking With Nature!

It is one of the best parts of my day. What ever mood I am in, to put my walking shoes on and step out into what ever the days nature is showing gives me an immediate feeling of connection or at least it highlights if I am not connected. My morning routine is quite a ritual as it sets up the day for what ever is in store…. work or play day.
Today I took Freja to the cliffs and the view was amazing. We climbed up and down and got to feel warm wind in our hair. I can be quite enthusiastic on my walks so I have to make a mindful pause every so often to check out the view and remind myself of how lucky I am to start the day this way.
Sometimes I take a flask of coffee with me just to add to the luxury of the simplicity. And as it is July….. I took one of my yummy Black Bean Flapjacks with me. Great for an extra energy burst and a wonderful way to satisfy all the senses! The smell of coffee, the taste of gooey flapjacks, the wind in my hair and the sun on my face….
Then I feel like I am flowing with energy. Inspired to head to the office of Lab and start blogging or health testing or creating new healthy recipes.

Taking a moment to pause, breath and appreciate.

This is what todays walk with Nature sent me home with: a desire to inspire anyone out there looking for balance in any way, to take a walk or smell a rose or put your feet in a puddle.

What ever nature is saying to you today, embrace it and then share it!
